Job and Community Resource Fair

On August 14, 2009 NABVETS Portland hosted its job fair at the Portland Community College Capital Center in Beaverton. On hand were representatives from Federal, State, National and Local employers as well as valuable Community Service Organizations; all working to assist Oregon and Washington jobseekers in their search for new or enhanced career opportunities.

Job seekers and working professionals seeking new opportunities were exposed to well over 100 jobs, as well as important community service agencies during the event. Attendees took advantage of the chance to network with the employers, community service and veteran service organizations and other professionals throughout the day.
